its about time to start using my blog site

well here i am again i almost forgot about even having this site set up but i think it is a great ide for me to start using it.

last night i managed to head out for a short drive in the evening , and as anybody from kamloops knows,we are really socked in with athick layer of smoke from the many forest fires in the british columbia interior.the smoke does however create so really cool skies.As much as i hope the amazing B.C forest fire fighters get theses fires under control quickly i also hope i get out to try and shoot some more photos before it clears.

here are a few photos taken not far from my house on december 27,with all the low lying areas submersed in fog i had to climb up out of the valley only to find beautiful clear skies and arrived just in time to catch beautiful sunset.this was a rare occasion in which i had a friend accompany on my journey. things went well it was a little cold but no one was hurt and i didnt get us lost so i would not be surprised if she was to want to come out for another experience the sunset was definately worth the drive and short hike.

these are photos taken on my last little day trip.i was out on the red lake plateau. the light on this given day was extremely flat hidind the thick layer of hoar frost covering everything .it was my first trip into this area but definately will not be my last.it was only about two hours of hiking had the light been better i could see myself spending all day in the area.hopefully on my next trip out i can capture the beauty of the area to show you.the rock columns and the sagebrush surrounding the lower dew drop
